South Africa began a little cautiously with 2 upsets having happened in 2 days, but their patience ran out in 2 overs. And then they ran away with the score. They didn’t slow down except in one over of Haq (the 10th) when they lost both their openers within 4 balls. AB de Villers got in after that and he didn’t relent even for a single ball. And in the last over he smashed 2 6s to cross 200 and reach 211.

Scotland looked in bad shape even before they started and soon they were actually worse than that. They were down to 4 for 13 and Steyn had just about destroyed them. And when you see that Steyn finished with about the worst figures out of all bowlers at 2 for 21, you know that the worst was still to come. Well they were soon shot out for 81.
