West Indies has been a revelation this season and this match’s winner could be assured on a semi final berth. South Africa was fully prepared and went clinically amassing runs right from the word go. All of their top order fired and they were able to put up a tall score of 183.

West Indies lost Gayle right away in a deadly spell by Parnell, and they lost the rhythm with it too. Simmons waged a lone battle but that was not enough. Only when Simmons and Bravo were batting for the 3rd wicket did West Indies hold any hope, but that didn’t last long.
