Scorecard:
Scotland: 89 for 4 (7 overs)
(RR Watson 27 off 10 balls, Poonia 27 off 15 balls, Koetzer 33 off 15 balls, Butler 3 for 19)
New Zealand 90 for 3 (6 overs)
(McCullum 18 off 7 balls, Jesse Ryder 31 off 12 balls, Taylor 21 off 10 balls, Watson 1 for 4)
New Zealand gave a little leeway and Scotland ran up a cute total. Though Butler took 3 wickets, they probably didn’t count for much as the match was too short. Once New Zealand came to bat, it was obvious that they were in the driving seat throughout as the Scotland bowlers never looked in control. All 3 Top Order New Zealand Batsmen scored at 200+ strike rate, though even in the Scots innings, their Top 3 fired similarly, so what was the difference in the end? Well looking at the score card, probably nothing! But on the field, everything!!
