Scorecard:
India 153 for 7 (20 overs)
(Yuvraj 67 off 43 balls, Yusuf Pathan 31 off 23 balls, Harbhajan 13* off 4 balls, Edwards 3 for 24, Bravo 4 for 38)
West Indies: 156 for 3 (18.4 overs)
(Bravo 66* off 36 balls, Simmons 44 off 37 balls, Irfan 1 for 9)
India got off to a forgettable start losing a wicket every couple of overs till they were in dire straits. Dhoni batted slowly as if he didn’t believe in the Pathans to follow. A Big Mistake on his part. If he actually didn’t have confidence he should get them on the field before himself or throw them out of the team.
Well Yusuf Pathan and Yuvraj batted India out of dire straits and Harbhajan ended with a flourish adding 3 fours in the last 3 balls. This did more psychological damage than scorical
West Indies after an initial loss batted very sensibly to reach the Indian score comfortably without breaking a sweat. Bravo of course stood out with his excellent strokeplay
